Other Services
- Employer Accreditation and Job Check Assistance
INZ has designed the Employer Accreditation and Job Check to make it easier for NZ businesses and regions to fill genuine skill shortages. This new system would increase the overall skill level of migrants coming to work in New Zealand.
New Zealand employers are required to apply for accreditation to Immigration New Zealand and go through the job check processing before hiring or employing people from overseas who may be granted an AEWV (Employer Accredited Work Visa)
- Request consideration under Section 61
A temporary visa holder may be caught in a circumstance where their visa can be declined, and they no longer hold a valid visa. This would denote the person being unlawfully in New Zealand and not a person in respect of whom a deportation order is in force. Consideration for the grant of a visa under Section 61 for a special case can be requested to regain the person's lawful status. However, the decision is discretionary on the part of INZ or the Minister of Immigration.
- Intervention for existing visa application - PPI
No visa applicant would like to receive a potentially prejudicial information (PPI). This is information from INZ's assessment which means that there is a specific requirement(s) that they are not satisfied you have met, which may negatively impact your application. You are given by INZ the opportunity to comment on or provide evidence in response to such information. Making a clear and correct response to a PPI may be challenging, tedious and stressful.
